We celebrated our 75th anniversary by reproducing Cecchini’s “Waterbones” on fabric. Transforming the fractal structure of Waterbones into fabric was an ambitious project, which Loris Cecchini and Manteco carried out together. The fabric is rigid and compact, made of carded wool – a characteristic of Manteco – lamé and polyester. The result is a high-definition 3D effect, resistant to abrasion and use, perfect for long-lasting coverage. Another feature is the double-sided structure, with a negative / positive effect on the front and back, which is why we decided to launch two versions of the cover for the same book.
